Michigan’s health worker was on leave on Charlie Kirk Comments

A health worker at Henry Ford Health in Detroit, Michigan, was put on leave after making controversial comments on the death of Charlie Kirk.
The intensive care nurse is part of an increasing number of employees who have been dismissed or suspended due to reactions supporting violence to the deadly shooter of the Conservative commentator on Wednesday, September 10.
In response to an article on Kirk’s murder, the individual commented: “God he had the day he deserved.”

A spokesperson provided the following statement to Fox News Digital.
“Henry Ford Health is aware of the commentary on social media, and the team member was put on leave while we are investigating internally.”

“The points of view expressed by the individual do not reflect the values of Henry Ford Health. We condemn the violence in all its forms,” continued the statement.

Last week, another health worker – this one of Riverside Health in Virginia – was dismissed after making his own controversial comments on the death of Charlie Kirk.

The woman, who was anesthesiologist at the Riverside Walter Reed hospital, made a publication on social networks which included “very inappropriate comments supporting violence against a public figure”, according to an email from the hospital sent to Fox News Digital.

The employee was contracted through North American Partners in Anesthesia (NAPA), a group of anesthesiology, said the hospital.

“We took rapid measures and in the middle of the morning on September 11, his contract via Napa was terminated,” said the press release. “The individual is no longer affiliated with Riverside Health.”
