Former Russian president Dmitry Medvedev narrated European leaders on Tuesday, accusing them of failing “to be ahead of” US President Donald Trump when they meet the Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelenskyy at the White House.
“The anti-Russian coalition in heat of volunteers has failed to get ahead of @potus on its lawn,” wrote Medvedev on X, in English.
The “coalition of willingly” refers to a group of European leaders who have formed a pact to support a peace agreement in Ukraine. These leaders of Monday’s meeting included French president Emmanuel Macron, British Prime Minister Keir Starmer, German Chancellor Friedrich Merz, Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni and Finnish President Alexander Stubb.
NATO secretary general, Mark Rutte, and the president of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen were also present.

Medvedev alleged that these leaders were “thanked” and “sucked” to President Trump.
The questioning remaining now, said Medvedev, was “what setting” Zelenskyy – which he described as mocker as “the kyiv clown” – “will play on the guarantees and the territories at home, once he has taken over his green military uniform.”

Writing on his social platform of truth, Trump said that he had called his Russian counterpart to start “the arrangements for a meeting” with Zelenskyy. This would then be followed by a trilateral meeting between the two presidents at war and the United States.
