Eric Adams He says he cannot support the legalization of prostitution … quoting his previous experience as a police officer and his faith as the main reasons for this.
The mayor of New York City joined us to provoke an interview on Thursday … and says he is against the legalization of prostitution – not like his opponent Zahran Mamdani He has indicated in the past.
Adams says he remembers seeing young people – 18 or 19 years only – selling their bodies on the street again a day … and claims that prostitution contributed to the AIDS epidemic in the city per day as well.
When asked about the creation of a red lighting area-such as the type in Amsterdam-Adams says even such spaces do not put an end to exploitation and violence associated with prostitution.
