Mamdani faces a backlash on the removated video on abolishing private property

The past comments of Zohran Mamdani return once again to haunt his campaign as mayor of New York, while a resurface -resurfacing video reveals that the socialist candidate launched “the abolition of private property”.

“My platform is that each person should have accommodation, and I think that in front of these two options, the system has hundreds of thousands of people without danger, right?” For what? ” Mamdani questioned in a resurfaced video which was cut and republished on conservative social networks.

“If there was a system that could guarantee each person a housing, whether you call it the abolition of private property or call it, you know, just a guarantee of housing across the state, it is preferable to what is happening today,” said Mamdani.

“People are trying to play like Gotcha games on this kind of thing, and it’s like, look, I care more if someone has a house,” he said.

The clip has aroused a general condemnation from the conservatives, in particular the GOP representative, Nicole Maliotakis, who declared to Fox News Digital: “He claims to be socialist, whether it is wanting to abolish private property or wanting to grasp the means of production, they are communist ideas from the play of the Karl Marx Playbook.”

Private property is a constitutional principle of cornerstone. It represents the essence of personal freedom, economic opportunities and the American dream. We must defend it.”

“Mamdani does not offer a housing plan-he pushes a communist manifesto. The idea of abolishing private property is fundamentally anti-American and fiery with the real problems with which New Yorkers are confronted,” said representative Nick Langworthy, Rn.y., in Fox News Digital. “Families flee the city and our state due to high costs, crimes and broken leadership – not because there is too much freedom. New York must decide: do they want a mayor who believes in security and prosperity, or a communist who wants to grasp your house?”

The comments sparked a social networks FiresTorm too.

“Yes, this guy is certainly not a communist,” said Donald Trump Jr., who recently spoke to Fox News Digital of the prospect that Mamdani was mayor, published in sarcastically on X.

“He is a communist,” replied the Senator of the Gop Ted Cruz to the viral clip on X.

“As I said, he is a communist,” said Marc Thiessen, contributor to Fox News, on X.

Since his surprise victory in the Democratic primary has soamed him nationwide, Mamdani faced animated criticism and was described as “communist” for a variety of positions he adopted, including on social networks where the refined clips returned to haunt him.
