The Democratic candidate of the town hall and the self -proclaimed socialist Zohran Mamdani is confronted with criticisms on the remarks made at a conference for young Democratic socialists of the Socialists of America, where he urged participants not to make compromises on objectives such as “seize the means of production”.

During the appearance – which was part of a winter conference of 2021 YDSA – Mamdani, then newly elected to the New York State Assembly, deplored that many socialist principles remain outside the political current.

“Right now, if we are talking about the cancellation of students’ debt, if we are talking about Medicare for everyone, you know, these are problems that have the wave of popular support through this country,” said Mamdani in a video of conference lovers. “But there are also other problems that we believe firmly, whether it is BDS or whether it is the final objective of seizing the means of production, where we do not have the same level of support at the same time.”

Mamdani continued by saying that he was “critical” for people not to compromise on these less popular ideas, despite public affirmation this week that he is “not communist”.

“It is essential, the way we organize, the way we have set up our – You know, implemented our work and our priorities, that we leave no problem with the other, that we do not encounter a moment and that we only look at what people are ready, but that we do these two things in tandem”, continues Mamdani in his conference address. “Because it is essential for us to meet people where they are and also organize what is correct and for the right one, and to make sure that, over time, we can bring people to this problem.”

Mamdani Speaking on Monday on Monday at the 2021 YDSA conference began to go around on social networks.

The former mayor of NYC, Bill de Blasio, says that there is “a lot of exaggeration” on the fears of Mamdani

“The nomenclature of Mamdani’s socialism is not a joke or an aspiration,” said billionaire Bill Ackman in response to video when she was starting to appear on social networks. “This is the business plan for a movement he directs and, for the moment, wins. Do not count on my summary. Listen to him to speak his own words.”

“Mamdani smiles like a crocodile because he says that his final objective is to elect more socialists and grasp the means of production,” added the crypto and artificial intelligence of President Donald Trump. “Democrats have become the Luigi left party, Tesla’s terrorism and crocodile communists.”

Fox News Digital contacted Mamdani’s campaign for a response to these criticisms but did not receive an answer in time for the publication.

Last week, Trump personally criticized Mamdani, who upset the former New York governor Andrew Cuomo in the New York mayor’s primary soon this month, as “100% crazy communist”.

“It was finally happening, the Democrats crossed the line,” wrote Trump. “We have already had radical leftrs, but it becomes a bit ridiculous.” Trump doubled the communist complaint this week in an interview with Fox Business, adding that, if it were elected, Mamdani better “behaves” or risks that his city was losing federal funding.

In response to Trump’s criticism to be a “communist”, Mamdani directly refuted the claim of NBC News during the weekend.

“No, I am not,” replied Mamdani when he was asked in Point-Blank by Kristen Welker of NBC. “I have already had to start getting used to the fact that the president will talk about my appearance, my phase, from where I come from, who I am, finally, because he wants to distract from what I fight.

“When we talk about my policy, you know, my name is a democratic socialist in many ways inspired by the words of DR (Martin Luther) King of decades ago, who said:` `call it democracy, call it democrat-socialism, there must be a better distribution of wealth for all the children of God in this country.”
