The pro-Trump, non-profit legal advocacy, America First Legal (AFL) asks the Federal Election Assistance Commission (EAC) to start demanding citizenship proof for all candidates for the registration of federal voters after the president’s efforts to do so by decree, was blocked by the courts.
The AFL filed a petition on Wednesday with the CAE, calling on the agency to modify the registration form of national voters to demand that the candidates provide one of the following documents proving American citizenship: an American passport, a birth certificate, a consular report from birth to the state abroad, a naturalization certificate, a citizenship certificate issued by the State.
This decision follows an executive decree of March issued by President Donald Trump, entitled “Preserving and protecting the integrity of the US elections”, which sought to oblige the EAC to begin to demand proof of citizenship on the national registration form of voters, in addition to other provisions concerning the prohibition of the unlimited vote.
An American judge partially prevented the integrity order of Trump elections from taking strength. Is it legal?

Trump’s decision was criticized by criticisms that argued that it is already illegal for non -American citizens to vote in the federal elections. However, a voter full of hope does not need to provide proof of citizenship and can simply self-attract.
Trump’s executive decree of Trump calling the CAE to modify the registration form of national voters and demands that all states conform and used it were finally blocked by several federal judges following prosecution that disputed the authority of Trump.
Second federal judge is part of Trump’s electoral decree
In the AFL petition with the EAC, the group argues that even if the legal challenges and their temporary injunctions which result from federal judges are always judged, the injunctions “are entirely based on the separation of the principles of the powers”, which leaves the EAC with the place “to take measures of integrity of the elections of goods of goods on its own will”.

“The executive decree used spending powers so that the EAC ensures that state electoral agents applied the law by demanding proof of citizenship,” said the vice-president of America First Legal, Daniel Epstein, clarified in Fox News Digital. “What we do is to force a change in the forms that EAC distributes and we have the ability to enforce the court.”
Fox News Digital contacted the EAC to comment but did not receive an answer.
