A new trend has emerged which puts personal care to the next level – for those who can afford it.
“Boat-tox” has people who order Botox injectables and other personal care services and treatments directly to their locations on board yachts or private boats.
Dr. Alexander Golberg, based in New York, specializing in functional and aesthetic medicine, told Fox News Digital that “Boat-tox” is part of a wider aesthetic trend of the concierge.

It is “luxury care that meets patients wherever they are,” he said. “If someone plans a day of boat with friends, he can also adapt to his Botox treatment at the same time.”
Golberg said he started “Dr. Hamptons”, a service that provides treatment directly to patients. It is aimed at celebrities, CEOs, frequent travelers and young professionals.

Other treatments such as lip improvements, IV and well-being drops are also available.
Following the coronavirus, when many doctors’ offices were closed, medical and cosmetic services on demand increased. “People still wanted (ING) to look good and feel best,” said Golberg.

Its concierge members pay annual costs to have access to home and yacht calls; The service manages “each visit with complete discretion”.
Sheila Nazarian, a plastic surgeon certified in California and the star of the “skin decision: before and after” from Netflix, told Fox News Digital that the trend embraces “the exclusivity of the house call”.

“The price reflects the VIP nature of the service,” she said. “Patients pay not only for treatment, but for privacy, the exclusivity of the house call and the peace of mind to have an expert present wherever they are.”
Nazarian added: “In Los Angeles, it could mean a penthouse, a private jet, or yes, even the bridge of a yacht.”

She said that the administration of injectable people on yachts has additional considerations such as lighting, sterility and movement of the ship.
Golberg said the injections are only carried out when the boat is moored and anchored.

Only very experienced suppliers should try, said Nazarian.
“Patients should understand that complications, although rare, can be more difficult to approach in a non -clinical framework.”
