The mayor of Los Angeles, Karen Bass, signed a decree on Friday to strengthen protocols and support immigrant districts, in particular by offering cash assistance, in response to the RAIDS of the Trump administration illegally targeting those who live in the United States.
The order is intended to help protect the staff of the city and residents of the federal government during immigration application operations. It also requires that federal agencies provide raid files, which have been detained and for what reason and the cost for taxpayers, which will be part of a law on freedom of information (foia).
“It is necessary that I need to have an executive directive to help our city understand how to protect themselves from our federal government,” Bass said at a press conference. “What we saw here during the last, now six weeks of raids that appear, and we never know exactly when and where they are going to happen.

“The directive will help city workers know how to contact immigration officials if they are approaching a city department,” she added.
The order also requires that city services create a protocol and training plan on how to comply with the prescription on the city of Los Angeles.
In addition, Bass said that a plan was being drawn up to provide cash assistance to people affected by law implementation operations, Los Angeles Times reported. The cash cards with a “a few hundred” dollars on them will be distributed by immigrant rights groups in about a week, Bass said.
The money will not come from the city’s chests, but philanthropic partners, she said.
“Do you tell me it’s not a Babylon bee title?” A White House spokesperson told Fox News Digital, referring to the site of satirical new. “The recent immigration application in California has led to the success of countless violent criminals and the liberation of children from illegal labor exploitation. But instead of helping these children or putting American citizens first, Bass doubles its defense of illegal foreigners.

“Americans are tired of these pathetic waterfalls from Democratic politicians. That’s why they elected President Trump,” added the spokesperson. “They want someone who will pass America first, and it is certainly not Karen, Gavin & Co.”
Bass condemned immigration operations targeting illegal criminal immigrants in the city. Los Angeles is one of the many cities that continue the Trump administration during “illegal” raids.
Thursday, immigration agents made a descent into a cannabis farm in the county of Ventura nearby to target the illegal immigrants who worked there. Ten minors of illegal immigrants, including eight unaccompanied, were found on the farm, said the Customs and Borders Commissioner of the United States, Rodney Scott.
The farm is now the subject of an investigation for potential child labor violations.
Earlier in the week, nearly 100 troops of the National Guard and immigration authorities targeted the MacArthur Criminal Park in Los Angeles, which prompted the bass to go to the park to ask for the operation, which was postponed by the head of the American border patrol Gregory Bovino.

“I don’t work for Karen Bass,” Bovino told Fox News at the time. “It is better to get used to us now because it will be normal very soon. We will go anywhere, at any time, in Los Angeles.”
