“We believe that Democrats will do nothing to stop crime, but we believe that the Republicans will do so almost unanimously,” said Trump. “We will therefore need a bill on crime that we are going to set up, and it will be initially related to DC”
He also noted that “we are going to seek a relatively low sum of money” to repair the nests-de-poule and generally embellish the district.

It is not clear that the package would be part of a bill or would be its own additional autonomous financing package, and when the legislators put their hands on a request, it is also in the air.
The White House referred to Fox News Digital to the President’s previous comments on the bill.
Legislators should only return to Washington after the Labor Day and will be respected immediately by the Quick Deadline to finance the government on September 30.
They will also have to face a planned request from Trump to extend his DC police control – the president has only 30 days unless the congress grants him an extension with a joint resolution.

Republicans largely support its access more time to suppress crime in the Capitol, but a joint resolution probably requires 60 votes to the Senate, and the Senate Democrats report that they will not move and allow Trump to consolidate his grip on Washington more.
However, Trump suggested that he would trigger a national emergency declaration to bypass the congress, some of which have been supported.
