Jeffries’ complaints about Habba stems from his decision to invoice the Lamonica McIiver representative, DN.J., with internal security agents during an altercation in an immigration establishment in Newark on May 9.
McIver pleaded not guilty. She is now heading to the trial on November 10.
“The so-called American lawyer of the NJ has maliciously charged the Lamonica McIiver deputy for doing her job,” said Jeffries in an article on X. “Habba is a terribly unreserved political hacking that must go there.

According to a press release from the MJ, the mayor of Newark, Ras Baraka, was authorized to enter the secure area of the immigration establishment in Delaney Hall, then the federal agents warned him to leave, but he refused to do so.
When the police tried to arrest Baraka, Mciver would have blocked them, putting his arms around the mayor and “criticized his forearm” in an officer while entering another and using his two forearms to force the second officer.
Each of the first two charges includes a maximum sentence of eight years in prison. The third carries up to a year.

The campaign for responsibility, a liberal surveillance group, has filed a complaint against Habba for having charged charges against Mciver and Baraka, alleging that she had politically targeted the couple in retaliation for participating in the protest and the surveillance visit because their opinions are opposed to those of President Donald Trump.
