First on Fox: The American Parents Coalition parental surveillance group sounds the alarm about a left climate defense group they warn could come for your children.

In a new report, published via the APC parental notification system entitled “The Lookout”, the Watchdog of parental rights alleges the climate defense group, our Children’s Trust (Oct) “emotionally manipulated” children to advance its climate program.

In addition to the oct prosecution which involves young complainants, the APC underlined the curriculum documents that the climate defense group promotes, which, according to the guard dog, “aimed to indoctrinate children in a particular set of beliefs on the environment”. The APC has also cited OCT promotion of publications on social networks and research studies that speak of the “climate -related stress” of children.

“Our children’s confidence should not be” reliable “by the parents,” said APC executive director Allelight Marré. “The obsession of the left to undermine parental authority and target young minds has now entered the climate movement.”

In May, on behalf of 22 young people, several of whom were minors at the time of the deposit, Oct filed Lighthisher c. Trump to challenge the decrees of the president linked to the fossil fuels industry and take off the green energy mandates from the Biden era. The APC says that the pursuit uses a narrative of climate hysteria, arguing: “The complainants were born and now live in a destabilized climate system …” and “each additional tonne of GHG pollution and an increase in heat defendants will cause Olivia (a claimant child) more trouble.”

Meanwhile, in addition to using children to help deposit climate change, OCT also pushes the educator’s resources and school equipment to schools that perpetuate the idea of stress and anxiety linked to climate in young people.

For example, APC underlined the course equipment which included a brainstorming session for students, which, according to the surveillance group, implies that parents do not offer adequate protection for children. The exercise in class asked the students: “What could make young people different from the eyes of a court?” The responses of responses provided to students include: “Young people will generally survive older generations and will therefore have to live with the consequences of current actions of adults” and “young people often depend on adults for the protection of their physical, mental and social well-being”.

The APC also underlined the use by the OCT of social media and research to promote the idea that their climatic prosecution focused on children are necessary.

“Climate anxiety is real and this has an impact on the mental health of children,” said an article on Instagram by APC states.

“Children are particularly vulnerable to the impacts of climate change due to their physical, development and socio-economic characteristics,” said another article on Instagram highlighted by the APC.

“No organization should focus on anxiety and fear in children in order to persuade them to join prosecution that is activists and political,” said Marré. “The bombing of the confidence of our children and other groups of activists pushing alarmism and climate hysteria has devastating impacts on the mental health of children. Exposing children to this type of extremist mentality is not productive and leads to manipulation rather than education.”

Marré also complained that it stifles the ability of children to think for themselves.

However, Oct was vigorously in disagreement with the statements made by Marré and APC.

“Our children’s confidence, a group founded by mothers, offers young people education and tools to understand the world they know how to inherit – and participate in civic life in a significant and legal manner,” OCT said in a statement to Fox News Digital when they were contacted to comment. “Although the APC has not allowed us to review its report before its release, we can confidently say that its conclusions represented by Fox News are false. We do not manipulate young people. Young people are already deeply aware of how climate change has an impact on their lives and future.

The OCT declaration continued by affirming that the assertion that “climate anxiety among young people is in a way manufactured” is “out of contact” and “insulting the millions of children faced with forest fires, floods and extreme heat”.

“It is revealing that this pretending group representing the prefers parents would discredit the votes of young people to respond to the prejudices of the real climate that children experience,” concluded the OCT declaration. “Our work is based on the science, the constitution and the rights of children and the civic commitment – not for fear – and is supported by pediatricians, parents, teachers and religious leaders across the country. Young people do not need to be manipulated to worry about the planet. They are already experiencing the consequences.”
