Former chief of staff of former president Joe Biden, Ron Klain, told investigators to the Chamber that Hillary Clinton was approaching him with concerns about the political viability of the octogenarian leader “by 2024,” Fox News Digital learned.

Klain spoke with the staff of the Chamber’s supervisory committee for more than five hours on Thursday, while the president of the James Comer Committee, R-Ky., Continues to ask whether Biden’s best aids have hidden mental decline signs from the ex-president.

A familiar source with his voluntary interview told Fox News Digital that Klain thought that Biden was mentally lively to serve as president and was not too old to run.

But the former secretary of state and former Biden national security adviser, Jake Sullivan, “approached Ron Klain by declaring that they thought that Joe Biden was not politically viable” of the months before removing his re -election offer in July 2024, said the source.

Sullivan told Klain that Biden “was less effective in 2024 compared to 2022,” said the source.

It is not immediately clear if the mental acuity of Biden was the reasoning for their doubts, or if they pleaded in Klain together or separately.

But it is an important act of accusation coming from the main national democrats of Biden in general, long before the concerns concerning his aptitude within the party were made public.

Adrienne Watson, representative of Sullivan, denied the account in a statement to Fox News Digital.

“Jake did not have a conversation with Ron about Joe Biden who presents himself to the presidency before the debate,” said Watson.

Sullivan had been a high -level assistant in Biden and Clinton, having been his main policy advisor during her 2016 campaign.

Klain, who was chief of staff of the White House for the first half of Biden’s mandate, conceded that the president of the time was less energetic and more forgetful, although he defended his “acuity to govern,” said the source.

“Mr. Klain said that President Biden often confused the appropriate names and names, and that has won over time,” said the source.

Fox News Digital was informed that Klain also said that there was no reason to doubt the own mental form of President Donald Trump.

Klain did not say anything to journalists when he entered or the committee room on Thursday.

He is the sixth former assistant to the Biden administration to appear for the Commer probe.

And although the interview is widely directed by the staff, Comer made an appearance for the start of half of the sit-down, and the representatives. Andy Biggs, R-Ariz., And Ro Khanna, D-Calif., There were both briefly there.

Biggs and Khanna described Klain as “credible” as they saw inside the room.

“I think he says what he knows with precision,” Biggs told Fox News Digital.

On the other side of the aisle, Khanna told journalists: “He answered each question. He was entirely cooperative.”

Three other former aids from the Blanche de Biden house which appeared before – Annie Tomasini, Anthony Bernal and the former home of Maison Blanc Kevin O’Connor – all appeared under assignment and pleaded the fifth amendment to avoid answering the questions.

The longtime help of Biden Ashley Williams and the former secretary-staff Neera Tanden, like Klain, came for volunteer transcribed interviews.

A familiar source with the thought of the Biden team previously called the “dangerous” Republican probe and “an attempt to dirty and embarrassment”.

“And their hope is that one inconsistency between witnesses to appear so that Trump’s GM continues his political opponents and will continue his revenge campaign,” said the source.

Fox News Digital also contacted Klain’s lawyer as well as contact for comment for Clinton but did not hear at the time of the press.
