King Charles welcomes Trump and Melania to the castle of Windsor for a state visit

President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump will receive a full royal welcome from King Charles III after arriving at Windsor Castle on Tuesday evening.

Wednesday’s festivities will start with Trump, the first lady and several senior American officials participating in a transport procession with the king, the queen and other members of the royal family. Before the couple’s arrival, hundreds of staff members worked in the rooms and land of the castle of almost 1,000 years to ensure that the monarch welcomed the couple of the real royal fashion.

Trump is about to get into the most important car with King Charles, while Melania will get into a next car with the Queen. Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent, Chief of Staff of the White House Susie Wiles and the Steve Witkoff special envoy will also go up in follow-up wagons.

Before his visit, Trump praised the “great honor” of being organized by his “friend” at the castle of Windsor “The Ultimate” for his second state visit, The UK standard reported.

“My relationship is very good with the United Kingdom, and Charles, as you know, who is now king, is my friend,” Trump told journalists, quoted by the point of sale. “This is the first time that it has happened where someone has been honored twice. So, it’s a great honor.”

“And this one is in Windsor,” added Trump. “And I don’t want to say better than the other, but they say that Windsor’s castle is the ultimate, right? So it’s going to be good.”

“Mainly it is to be with Charles and Camilla,” he continued. “They have been my friends for a long time, long before he was king, and it is an honor to have this king.”

The centerpiece of Trump’s visit should be the banquet of St. George’s Hall. The Waterloo table, about half the length of a football field, can accommodate up to 160 people. The Associated Press reported that it took five full days to settle the table, which is posed with more than 4,000 pieces, including 200 years.

The visit comes as the United States and the United Kingdom are continuing commercial negotiations, although the White House has not indicated that transactions will be announced during the event.
