Kennedy and Hegseth face the training of the Dod Fitness Challenge

First on Fox: The secretary of health and social services, Robert F. Kennedy Jr., visited the Ministry of Defense to challenge the secretary Pete Hegseth to a traction and pushup competition, nicknamed the “Pete and Bobby Challenge”, while the heads of the Trump administration encourage the Americans to deposit “Fit”.

The two clashed to notch 50 pull -ups and 100 pumps in less than five minutes while surrounded by soldiers from the Navy and the Marines, the video first shared with the digital programs of Fox News.

“We had our Big Pete and Bobby Challenge today, 50 pull-ups. 100 pumps. You are trying to spend less than five minutes,” said Kennedy, wearing his typical jeans gymnasium and a t-shirt.

The challenge arises while Kennedy unleashes the movement “Make America Healthy Again”, which includes the promotion that Americans eat whole food compared to processed meals, and Hegseth brings together the American army to be the most fit and the most well equipped to manage the defense of the nation.

“Completely unacceptable,” said Hegseth on X in response to a title declaring two -thirds of the army is too much. “This is what happens when the standards are ignored – and that is what we change. The standards of fitness and real weights are here. We will be in good shape, no big.”

The pair has square to see who could beat the five -minute challenge, Hegseth with just over five minutes, but beating Kennedy.

“We got closer. I had about 5:25 am,” said Hegseth in the video. “You were just behind me,” he added, referring to the chief of the HHS, who is 71 years old.

Hegseth pointed out that some of the gymnasium navies at the time beat the challenge and arrived in less than four minutes, while another has finished the challenge in less than three minutes.

“It was President Trump who inspired us to do so,” Kennedy said in the video shared with Fox Digital. “This is the beginning of our tour of the Americans in challenge to get back in shape, to eat better, but also, you have to go out and exercise.”

The couple also challenged another member of the cabinet to join them in the competition: the Secretary of Transports Sean Duffy.

“Secretary Duffy, you are invited to challenge Pete and Bobby. Can you do it in less than five minutes? 50 pull-ups, 100 pumps. What do you think?” HEGSETH asked in the video while the pair grove.

President Donald Trump defended Kennedy’s efforts encouraging Americans to cut processed food and to become active in the Maha movement, as well as to praise the American army several times as “undoubtedly the greatest combat force in world history” under the direction of Hegseth.

In terms of youth, Trump restored the presidential physical packaging test and the president’s advice on sports, fitness and nutrition for American schoolchildren after former president Barack Obama withdrew him in favor of the presidential fitness program for young people. Trump signed a decree in July by restoring the program and ordered the Council to launch “programs in schools which reward excellence in physical education and develop criteria for a fitness prize”.
