On how Katie Thorston learned to diagnose her breast cancer
First, Dr. Katie referred it to a specialist for ultrasound for the breast. Then, she had X -ray breast imaging.
“After that after getting X -ray breast photography, they wanted me to do a biopsy,” Katie explained in A. March 18, 2025 Instagram video. “Only then can confirm whether breast cancer was. I think my appointment was on February 5. By February 13, I received the official invitation that was already breast cancer.”
And you will never forget the moment you got the news for the first time.

Katie informed her fans of diagnosing the third stage on February 15, 2025.
“I have faced a set of feelings over the past two weeks,” wrote on Instagram. “Despair. Anger. Sadness. Denial. Then strength. Hold. Ready. I cried a lot.”
She expressed her intention to document her journey in the hope of helping others.
“One of the things I did early is to search for other stories like me,” she added. “Other young women have breast cancer. Gase medicines cancer. Breast removal. Pregnancy after breast cancer. All their stories helped. So I intend to be the same for others. This is the first day of participation and will be a long step. This is the first step of realistic acceptance was the most difficult. But I am ready to fight this.”
