The hits keep coming for her Katie porter … The embattled California gubernatorial candidate allegedly lost sex with her ex-husband years ago … who says she called him stupid and poured hot mashed potatoes on him, burning his scalp … according to court records.
According to legal documents, Porter tied the knot with Matthew Hoffman In 2003…but it appears their relationship eventually soured, leading to Porter filing for divorce in 2013. They both filed domestic violence restraining orders against each other.
In his papers, Hoffman alleged that Porter “routinely” called him an “idiot” and “incompetent” — and said she also smashed a glass coffee pot on the kitchen table because she felt their house wasn’t clean enough.
On another occasion, Hoffman alleged that Porter became agitated by the way he was making mashed potatoes, and she said, “Can’t you read the damn instructions!”
Porter then lifted “a ceramic bowl of steaming hot potatoes and threw it at my head, burning my scalp,” Hoffman said.
According to Hoffman, Porter also threw away “toys, books and other things” and refused to let him have a cell phone because she said he was “too stupid to operate it.”
According to Porter’s request for a restraining order… Huffman and Porter got into an argument in April 2013 while she was getting ready for work. She says Hoffman grabbed her hands, squeezed them, and shouted that she was a “deaf bitch.” Hoffman then allegedly grabbed the dental floss out of her hand and threw it to the floor, before smashing a light switch with his fist.

All of this information has come to light now that Porter appears to have done just that She loses her calm During an on-camera interview with a CBS News reporter during the California gubernatorial campaign this week.

Porter also appeared In a clip, he reappeared screaming at her employee “get out of the f—ing shot” during a 2021 Zoom interview with then-Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm.
We’ll have to see how all of this affects her chances of becoming California’s next governor.
