Karen Bass demands that ice agents leave, stretch reactions on social networks

The Democrat mayor of Los Angeles, Karen Bass, aroused controversy on social networks this week after trying to interfere with ice agents who carried out immigration raids, calling “scandalous” and “non -American”.

Bass, who was a vocal opponent of immigration raids in the city, appeared on the scene and asked to speak with Ice Leadership when agents carried out an operation near the MacArthur park on Monday.

“They have to leave, and they have to leave right now. They have to leave because it’s unacceptable!” Said Bass on the scene.

Bass said on social networks that there were children playing in the park, which is well known in the region as a home for homelessness and crime even during the hours of clarity.

Bass’s actions have sparked an immediate decline in criticism on social networks.
