JUXTAPOZ Magazine – Pat McCarthy: Experience Ships @ NYC Entrance

The entrance is excited to display Experience shipsA new sculpture from Pat McCarthy, his second exhibition at the exhibition after the Nick Nak city cart in 2019, after years of cooperation with the entrance.
The four seasons are presented through the artist’s experiences on his farm on UPSTATE in the Catskill Mountains in New York. Making sculpture, cultivation, installation and daily work is one in the practice of Pat. Bat maintains a pigeon, while his wife, Madi Ringuld Brown, tends to flowers, run together orchards, chromium farms, and make a solid wood forest to property. His name is Nick Nak farm with a late memorial affection and the legendary now.
The landscape sources, Pat makes the poetic narration through things that speak to the excessive but universal character. Children’s family, woven from grapes, embodies anxiety for parents for the first time. Cherry boards and black -filled eyelashes become a burning burner of wood covered with ceramic mushrooms, and a picture of the forest bones and veins. Their tractors, manually lasting from neighboring farmers, are transported, and they are represented in English ceramics. The gathering pigeons of wine and dried fruits celebrate the Tirror environment – a rocky, wet and cold.
It is presented at the opening of the “oysters” made of artists made of agriculture, as well as grapes made of grapes and fruits that were poured from handcrafted porcelain jugs that are included as works in the exhibition. An oak barrel, which contains unarmed mountain springs, provides a final expression.
Experience ships are also characterized by landscapes by Luis Somville (born in 1994, Nancy, France). Currently, the residence of the summer drawing in Paris in Paris on the NIK NAK farm has acquired the prospects for these technical endeavors to subscribe and the farm life in Andz, New York.
