JUXTAPOZ Magazine – a few “Thadow Talk” with Dylan Rose Rheingold in Rome

Shade Written by Dylan Rose Ringoulid, the second individual artist exhibition in T293 It features the largest group of works so far: Three huge panels of murals pushing the limits of size and intimacy. Besides this, a selection of automatic graphics on paper, which Ringoulid is studies in the continuous development of its practice.

This new series swings in a mixture of local interiors and dreams -like landscapes, exploring the interaction of space, memory and nostalgia. The artist integrates the worlds of surrealism and abstraction, allowing them to weave together income and the transit nature of memory in a strange and familiar way. The basic topics and images of their practice include symbols of others, femininity and their heterogeneous cultural background. By using unconventional structures – by using automatic drawing and surreal automation, as well as their distinctive layers of mixed media – they convert these elements into dreams of nostalgia into two halves. Ringold’s action is attracted to the idea of daily emotions and excessive spaces that, when seen through her surreal style, are amplified and turned into unknown and unknown worldly unknown worlds. By exaggerating the weak and unfamiliar details – and often veiled facts – of the female experience, the artist highlights a critical moment in the life of a young woman: achieving the inherent responsibility that she must absorb to take the view of others.

The concept behind “Shadow Talk” appeared from the performance: lights, light sources, and moments of physical exposure that often determine an upcoming platform. In this context, the shadow symbolizes old versions of ourselves and others who no longer live our lives actively. It is very similar to things that bear family importance – those who have a space in space despite their physical absence – the shade embodies a sense of “the other” through the aura or energy. From an official perspective, these items are often drawn, with transient traces of skill through the workshops, as if he was whispering a loft secret that requires time and sharing to really detect, such as pressing your ear on the door to listen to fragments of the hidden truth.
