In a political party where politicians who call Florida at home have reached the heights of power, it is not surprising that the new president of the National Republican Committee (RNC) is from the state of Sunshine.
Joe Gruuters, a long -standing ally of Florida resident president Donald Trump, was unanimously elected on Friday as president of the RNC during the summer meeting of the National Committee.
Gruuters is a senator of the state of Florida, member of the RNC committee of the State of Sunshine and, briefly, treasurer of the National Committee before resigning after being elected president.

He is also close to another Floridian chief of staff, the White House, Susie Wiles, who was co-campaign of Trump’s presidential candidacy in 2024.
Gruuteter succeeded in now the president of now-former Michael Whatley, who resigned while he headed for the Senate in North Carolina in the successful race to succeed in the retirement of the Senator of the GOP Thom Tillis.

“Congratulations to Magi Warrior Joe Gruuters, whom I very strongly approved, during his unanimous elections as president of the National Republican Committee,” Trump wrote in an article on social networks after the ascent of Greeters to the President of RNC.
Trump boasted that Greters “helped us win massive and historical victories” in the state of Sunshine and “we” helped us turn Florida, red that red can be! “”
The election of Gruuters, an accountant of 48 years, as president of the RNC is the last sign of Trump’s full control on the National Party Committee.

“This is the president’s party. This is the president’s vision, overall. The party fully embraces the president,” said Gruuters while he and Whatley represented an exclusive interview with Fox News Digital.
And Greters turns to the president while the Republicans defend their majority from the Chamber and the Senate in the mid-term elections next year.
“We are going to set up the president until the victory halfway through, and we are going to win Gros,” said Gruuters.

Greters has often faced another republican governor with two mandates from Floridian, Ron Desantis.
Greeters supported Trump on Desantis during the 2024 presidential appointment race.
