Jimmy Rollins, a former Philadelphia Phillies and champion of the World Series, had reasons to celebrate when he participated in the Golf Tournament in the Championship of the American century on Saturday.
Rollins was at the 12th hole per-3 at the Edgewood Tahoe Golf Club at Nevada. He took his swing from the T-shirt, saw his ball hit the green and then ride in the cup. It was the third consecutive year that a hole in one was made in the American championship of the century.

Rollins was still down the ranking while the tournament started again on Sunday. The former NHL star, Joe Pavelski, and the former male football star Taylor Twellman, were in the running for the head with the musical artist Country Jake Owen and the wide receiver of the Panthers of Caroline Adam Thielmen.
The tournament has been played every year for over 30 years. The event is a stable format of 54 holes in which golfers earn points for each hole depending on the peer score. The golfer who reaches the most points wins. The tournament also collects funds for local charitable organizations.
