Vice -President JD Vance praised the gospel of the “Big Beautiful Bill” by President Donald Trump in Peachtree City, in Georgia – and continued to take shots from the state that has opposed the measure.

The visit of Vance in Georgia comes when it visited several key districts across the country and praised the “large and beautiful bill” while the Republicans seek to preserve their thin majority and potentially collect some seats in the mid-term elections of 2026 high issues.

The domestic policy bill included key provisions to constantly establish individual tax lightening and companies included in the Trump 2017 Trump and Jobs Act, and has incorporated new tax deductions to reduce rights to tips and overtime.

Vice -President JD Vance praised the gospel of the “Big Beautiful Bill” by President Donald Trump in Peachtree City, in Georgia – and continued to take shots from the state that has opposed the measure.

“If you work hard every day here in the United States, or if you create a business here in the United States, you must have a tax code that rewards you, instead of punishing yourself,” said Vance on Thursday. “And this is what happened when we succeeded in the tax reduction of workers’ families a few months ago.”

All the Democrats and five Republicans of the Chamber and the Senate voted against the massive measure – including the Democratic Senator Jon Ossoff of Georgia. However, Trump signed it on July 4. As a result, Vance targeted Ossoff during his visit.

“While Jon Ossoff claims to be moderate when he comes to Atlanta, he is an extreme left liberal in Washington, DC, and this is the only place where it really matters if you are an American senator,” said Vance. “So why don’t we ask Jon Ossoff, why did you vote to increase taxes? Why did you vote to keep illegal foreigners on Medicaid? Why did you voted to go back to Midicare?”

In July, Vance visited Canton, Ohio, and said that anyone opposed the “big and beautiful bill” should face consequences before the mid-term elections of 2026. Among those who voted against the measure in Ohio, there was the representative Emilia Sykes, who represents the city.

“Whoever voted against this, I think they should pay a penalty,” said Vance on July 28. “Because they voted against all these great things for the people of Akron and the people of northeast of Ohio.”

Vance faces a similar situation in Georgia, where Ossoff expressed his criticism of the measure and is to be re -elected in 2026. Critics of Trump’s tax and domestic tax measures underlined the Medicaid and SNAP reforms included in the bill, who suggest that the reports would delete millions of programs.

Meanwhile, an Ossoff spokesperson referred Fox News Digital to the Senator’s comments at a press conference on Thursday, where he quoted a local report saying that the CEO of a Georgia hospital said he had to reduce millions of people from his budget because of Trump’s bill.

“I think it is embarrassing that the vice-president comes to Georgia to sell a policy that already leads to damage to the hospitals of the Georgia state, which should throw more than 100,000 people on health care in the state of Georgia,” said Ossoff. “This week, the Evans Memorial Hospital in southeast Georgia said that because of the bill that the vice-president is there to defend, they would have a financial hole of $ 3.5 million next year. This hospital here in Georgia now warns that they may have to reduce the USI.”

A Fox News survey published in July revealed that a majority of voters opposed the “big and beautiful bill”. The survey, carried out between July 18 and July 21, revealed that 58% of all registered voters oppose the measurement, while 39% approve it.

No democrat supported the “great and beautiful bill”, with the Republican senses. Susan Collins du Maine, Thom Tillis de Caroline du Nord and Rand Paul de Kentucky, and republican representatives Thomas Massie from Kentucky and Brian Fitzpatrick de Pennsylvania.
