Former Director of FBI, James Comey, was charged by a large jury in two counts, presumed to be false declarations in the jurisdiction of the legislative branch and obstruction of the Congress procedure, Fox News Digital learned.

Comey would have visited Friday and its indictment is scheduled for 10 a.m. on October 9, in the Alexandria 600 courtroom before the district judge Michael S. Nachmanoff.

Fox News Digital reported exclusively in July that Comey was under a criminal investigation by the FBI. The investigation into Comey focused on the question of whether he lied to the congress during his September 30, 2020, testimonies of his management of the Trump – Original Russia at the FBI, known inside the office under the name of “Crossfire Hurricane”.

“No one is above the law,” Attorney General Pam Bondi said X. “The accusation act today reflects the commitment of this Ministry of Justice to hold those who abuse positions of power responsible for having deceived the American people. We will follow the facts in this case.”

FBI director Kash Patel brought X to say: “Today, your FBI has taken another step in its promise of full responsibility.”

“For too long, the anterior corrupt management and their catalysts have armed federal police, once damaging the proud institutions and seriously eroding public confidence,” Patel wrote. “Each day, we continue the fight to recover this confidence, and under my direction, this FBI will face the problem of front. Nowhere is this politicization of the application of laws was more blatant than during the Canuular Russiagate, a shameful chapter in history, we continue to investigate and expose.

“Everyone, especially those who occupy positions of power, will be held to account – regardless of their perch.”

The accusation act alleys that Comey hampered an investigation by the congress on the disclosure of sensitive information in violation of 18 USC 1505.

The accusation act also alleys that Comey made a false statement when he said that he had not authorized someone to the FBI to be an anonymous source. According to the indictment, this declaration was false.

In an Instagram article on Thursday, Comey admitted that he and his family “knew for years that there are costs to resist President Donald Trump.

“We couldn’t imagine living differently,” he said. “We won’t live on your knees and you shouldn’t.”

“My heart is broken for the Ministry of Justice, but I have great confidence in the federal judicial system and I am innocent. So let’s do a trial and keep the faith,” added Comey.

Fox News Digital also reported exclusively that former CIA director John Brennan was under a criminal investigation linked to the Trump – Russia investigation.

Under the federal law, prosecutors are five years old to bring an accusation, with the five -year brand on Tuesday.

The case is processed by the American prosecutor’s office for the Virginia Oriental District.

“Justice in America!” President Trump posted on his social account Truth. “One of the worst human beings to which this country has ever been exposed is James Comey, the former corrupt FBI chief. Today, he was charged by a large jury on two counts for various illegal and illegal acts.

“It has been so bad for our country, for so long, and is now at the start of being held responsible for its crimes against our nation. Make America great again!”

The FBI opened its Trump-Russia investigation in July 2016, known inside the office as “Crossfire Hurricane”.

President Trump, during his first term, dismissed Comey in May 2017.

A few days later, Robert Mueller was appointed special lawyer to resume the original FBI investigation “Crossfire Hurricane”.

After almost two years, the investigation of former special lawyer Robert Mueller, who concluded in March 2019, gave no evidence of criminal conspiracy or coordination between the Trump campaign and Russian officials in the 2016 presidential election.

Shortly after, John Durham was appointed special advisor to investigate the origins of the “Crossfire Hurricane” probe.

Durham found that the FBI “did not act” on a “clear warning sign” that the office was “the objective” of an effort led by Clinton to “manipulate or influence the process of applying the law for political ends” before the 2016 presidential election.

“The aforementioned facts reflect a rather surprising and inexplicable failure to consider and adequately incorporate the Intelligence Plan in the FBI decision -making in the survey of crossfire hurricanes,” said Durham’s report.

“Indeed, if the FBI had opened the Crossfire Hurricane investigation as an assessment and, in turn, collected and analyzed concert data with the information of the Clinton Plan Intelligence, it is likely that the information received would have been examined, at least, with a more critical eye,” continued the report.

Durham, in his report, said that the FBI “had not acted on what should have been – when combined with other indisputable facts – a clear warning sign that the FBI could then be the target of an effort to manipulate or influence the process of applying the law to political purposes during the 2016 presidential election.”
