The military campaign of Israel in Iran has already produced “huge achievements”, according to experts who follow the conflict, many of which citing the operation as gain for years of preparation, innovation of the battlefield and the development of intelligence.
Mark Dubowitz, CEO of the Foundation for Defense of Democracies and a main voice on American politics towards Iran, described the progress of Israel “a resounding military victory”.
“They actually dominated the Iranian army,” Dobowitz told Fox News Digital. “They have withdrawn many senior military leaders, the Iranian Air Force, and a large percentage of missile launchers and ballistic inventory.”
However, Iran’s reprisals are wreaking havoc. Thursday morning, an Iranian missile struck the Soroka medical center in Beersheba and targeted several large cities, injuring hundreds. Despite heavy costs, military experts insist that FDIs continue to hold over, both tactically and strategically.

By comparing the extent of success in the six -day war, Dubowitz said: “It is starting to look like 1967, when the Israelis have eviscerated five Arab armies. It can take more than six days, but they are certainly on this trajectory.”
Hila Hadad -Hamelnik, strategist of the “Mind Israel” and former CEO of the Ministry of Innovation, noted that success is not an accident – it is the result of “years of preparation in all aspects”. To develop long -term strike capacities for the construction of an unrivaled intelligence apparatus and the adaptation of operational doctrines of Gaza and Lebanon, it has declared that the current domination of TSAhal is the product of innovation and experience.
“It is not a campaign that someone decided to do six months ago,” she said. “These are years of work – in intelligence, in the development of weapons, in defensive and offensive operations. The methods that we have tested against Hezbollah – hitting command chains quickly and precisely – have been studied, refined and applied here.”

She highlighted the lessons learned in Gaza, in particular the importance of identifying and quickly eliminating rocket launchers even before the strikes. “We have learned through hard fights that you need to neutralize the launchers, not only intercept the missiles. And this doctrine – developed in Gaza where the targets are five minutes – has now been adapted to Iran, with all the complexity that implies.”
Israel says he has air superiority over Tehran, the Iranian intelligence chief “killed”

Hadad-Hamelnik stressed that Israel’s control over the Iranian sky is “surprising … The Air Force flies over Iran day after day. The drones hold the sky”.

Even with the heavy toll when the Iranian missiles pass, like the attack on the Soroka hospital on Thursday, it credited the defensive systems of the country, like Iron Dome and David’s Sling – the systems which it helped to develop – which intercepted the Salvos of missiles with more than 90% of efficiency, even in an unprecedented case of dams. “This is a different war, and yet the systems hold,” she said.
Dubowitz recognized that despite the massive gains, a key target remains: the installation of nuclear enrichment of the Fordow, buried under a mountain in a revolutionary guard base.

“Israel has devastated Nuclear Infrastructure from Iran. They eliminated 14 superior nuclear scientists-the” Oppenheimers “from the Iranian program,” he said. “But Fordow remains. And if it is left standing, Iran can rebuild.”
While Dubowitz clarified that he does not explicitly call the American military strikes, he said that “President Trump must ensure that Fordow is fully dismantled – whether by a diplomatic agreement or, if Iran refuses, a targeted military intervention”.
He described three potential paths: “One, Iran presents itself for a real deal and the program is dismantled. Two, Trump strikes Fordow.

Within the secret war of Israel in Iran: the commandos of Mossad, hidden drones and the strike that amazed Tehran
Hadad-Hamelnik thinks that Israel’s success has created an opportunity for the United States.
“Thanks to the phenomenal achievements of the FDI, the situation is now very clear. If the United States should join at this stage, with Fordow as the main objective and most of the active ingredients already degraded, it would not seem to be drawn in a quagmire,” she said. “This is nothing like Ukraine or Afghanistan. There is a real path to decisive success, and it can change political calculation in Washington.”
Dubowitz added that Israel’s offensive struck not only military and nuclear targets, but also Iran’s internal security infrastructure – including state media and repressive weapons of the regime. For that, he said, could open the door to future domestic disorders. “We cannot expect people to protest while the missiles fall. But if Israel continues to hit the regime’s repression tools, the space could open so that Iranians go back to the street.”

Dubowitz, who spent two decades warning Iran’s nuclear ambitions, thought about it with cautious hope. “I am encouraged to see the long arm of Israeli justice achieving officials of such brutal assault,” he said.
“It can be a historic opportunity to really end Iran’s nuclear threat, and perhaps even to support the Iranian people in the recovery of their future,” he added, “there have been incredible achievements, but if Fordow is left standing by President Donald Trump, then it could end up being a pyrrhic victory.”
