The Israeli army claimed to have obtained “air superiority” on Monday in Tehran, while the air strikes launched by the Jewish state killed four senior Iranian intelligence officials.
Israeli defense forces (FDI) said that it had degraded the Iranian air defenses and missile systems to the point that Israeli aircraft can now operate on Tehran without facing major threats. He declared that Israel now controls the sky of western Iran in Tehran.
According to the Israeli army, the “precise information” of the FDI allowed the Israeli Air Force (IAF) fighter planes to strike a structure in Tehran where several senior Iranian intelligence officials were located. The strike eliminated the chief of the revolutionary intelligence organization Guard Corps (IRGC) Mohammad Kazemi, his assistant Mohammad Hassan Mohaqiq, chief of the intelligence department of force Quds Mohsen Bakri, and his assistant Abu al-Fadl Nikouei, the IDF said on Monday.

“These officials played a central role in the training of Iran’s strategic assessments and the planning of terrorist attacks against Israel, the West and the Middle East countries,” said the FDI.
Kazemi, who has held the position since 2022, “was responsible for the counterintelligence, spying and targeting of opponents of the Iranian regime in Iran”, according to the FDI. “In his role, Kazemi supervised information to come together for terrorist activities and the surveillance of Iranian citizens to remove dissent and preserve the Iranian regime.”
The Israeli army said that Hassan Mohaqiq “previously presided over the strategic intelligence department and played a key role in the regime’s terrorist operations, the West and the Middle East countries”.
Bakri and Al-Fadl Nikouei “were mainly responsible for operational support and intelligence to the members of the Iranian terror axis, notably Hezbollah, Hamas, Houthis and Militias in Iraq”, and they both played an important role in Iran’s efforts to restore its presence in Syria and supported by Hézbollah.

Monday’s announcement “marks an important blow for the Iranian regime’s intelligence apparatus and its ability to carry out terrorist attacks against the State of Israel,” said the FDI. This occurs after the FDIs said that his strikes had killed the head of the intelligence department in the general staff of the Iranian armed forces last Friday.
The FDI has destroyed a third of the missile launchers from the Iranian regime since the launch of its pre-emptive preemptive strike last Thursday, the FDI spokesman, Brigadier-General Effie Defrin said on Monday.
The IAF destroyed more than 20 surface missiles on the surface on Sunday evening before being launched towards the State of Israel, said Defrin.
The Air Force of Israel has completed several waves of strikes overnight, targeting approximately 100 military targets in Isfahan in the center of Iran.
“In these strikes, more than 20 missiles were struck simultaneously, a few minutes before they were launched to the inner front of Israel,” said Defrin. “In one of the strikes, after a missile launch cell, a real -time cell trying to launch surface surface missiles towards the state of Israel, the IAF eliminated the launch cell and destroys the missiles.”

Meanwhile, Iran pulled a new wave of missile attacks against Israel early on Monday, triggering air sirens across the country. Israeli emergency services have reported at least eight killed and dozens of others injured on the fourth day of the conflict.
Powerful explosions, probably from Israel’s defense systems intercepting the Iranian missiles, shaken Tel Aviv shortly before dawn, according to the Associated Press. The plumes of black smoke got into the sky during the big coastal city.

The last salvo comes after a weekend of agitation of the attacks in tit-for-tat between Israel and Iran which raised fears of a larger and more dangerous regional war.
