Israel deploys 600 officers like Gaza Flotilla with Thunberg is getting closer to waters

The flotilla to Gaza involving anti-Israeli militants and celebrities, including Greta Thunberg, aroused strong criticism from the Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, because Israel looks closely in the midst of fears to fear the push of Donald Trump for a peace agreement.
Meloni warned that the flotilla is intended to destabilize Trump’s peace plan, declaring on x“The truth is simple: these AIDS can be delivered without risks … Insisting on wanting to force a naval blockade means to be made yourself-knowingly or not instruments of those who want to explode all the possibilities of (a) ceasefire. Saving us the lesson of morality on peace if your goal is climbing. And do not explore the civilian population of Gaza if you are not really interested in interest.
The Trump administration has developed its 20 -point plan as the way at the end of the war in Gaza and to secure the release of Israeli hostages, but the flotilla could return the story to the confrontation.

On X, the Israeli Minister for Foreign Affairs, Gideon Saar, said: “The flotilla in Gaza is not a humanitarian act, but a dangerous provocation intended to ignite tensions and undermine diplomatic efforts in progress.”
The Flotilla Global Sumud describes itself as a “multinational civil effort to break the illegal seat of Israel of Gaza”, saying that the flotilla is the greatest attempt to date out of the sea blockade of Israel from the Gaza Strip, which has now lasted 18 years. Israel says that the blockade is necessary to prevent Hamas from importing weapons.
Flotilla Sumud is now traveling to waters in the exclusive economic zone of Israel and should reach Israeli waters around Yom Kippour with nearly 50 ships and hundreds of anti-Israeli activists on board. According to Israel Channel 12 news, Jerusalem deployed 600 police officers and naval units, and even created a special court in Ktzi’OT prison to treat prisoners, with security officials warning possible provocations at sea. “This is a sensitive and complex operation, and we are preparing for provocations,” said an Israeli police officer.

The flotilla drew international attention not only because of Thunberg’s participation but also because of its European and regional relations. The fleet is part of Barcelona, with activists supported by groups in Spain, which, according to Jerusalem, is linked to the agent of Hamas, Saif Abu Kashk, who directs a frontal company which claims that Israeli intelligence claims to control many ships.
At the same time, Turkey says it has watched the flotilla with drones, Ankara saying that it could help more “on humanitarian grounds”. Turkey has been accused of having devoted members of Hamas to the country.

For Israel, observers say that the challenge is to prevent activists from reaching Gaza while avoiding an international incident that could play in the hands of Hamas. While Trump works to enclose an agreement, the imminent confrontation at sea risks the titles of diplomacy and return to conflicts.

On Tuesday, Israel published documents related to the organizers of the flotilla in Hamas through the Palestinian conference for the Palestinians abroad (PCPA). The group, created in Türkiye in 2017, was appointed a terrorist organization of Israel and accused of having been the arm abroad of Hamas.
