This BBC production was presented by A Crystal maze-style A children’s game show set in a tower block, complete with talking Max height-style Lift (initially played by Future Little Britain star and author David Walliams).

Three contestants competed to climb the tower building to the penthouse, where they could try to claim the main prize.

If they fail at any level, they are dropped into the laundry chute and sent back to the basement.

The “Amazing Games” included a Victorian headmaster, a chess-like game of cat and mouse against the Dark Knight (Simon Chilton), and a segment in which the contestants swim in a giant bowl of soup, hunting down letters of the alphabet to form words.

The tower building depicted in the opening credits was the Grade II listed Trellick Tower in the Cheltenham area of ​​Kensal Town, London.
