Ilhan Omar’s net value increases to $ 30 million after denying wealth complaints

The net value of representative Ilhan Omar increased up to $ 30 million in just one year, reveal his financial disclosure of the congress.

The disclosure of 2025, reported for the first time by the Washington Free Beacon, shows that Omar and her husband, Tim Mynett, have a net value ranging from $ 6 million to $ 30 million, despite complaints earlier this year that she was “not millionaire”. The vast majority of wealth comes from the two Mynett companies, a cellar in California and a venture capital company.

Disclosure of the end of 2023 showed that these property issues were estimated at only $ 51,000, and they increased little in 2024.

Monday’s disclosure comes after Omar years attempting to minimize or refuse his personal wealth in the comments to the press.

She has proven herself on her personal wealth in February, encouraging criticism to “try to check my public financial statements”.

Omar’s office did not immediately respond to a request for comments from Fox News Digital.

Mynett’s company, Rose Lake Capital, is estimated between $ 5 million and 25 million dollars according to the disclosure of 2025, while the cellar, ESTCRU wines, is evaluated between $ 1 and $ 5 million.

The news of the disclosure comes as Omar has renewed a thrust for the control of firearms after the shooting of last week in Minneapolis.

“It is important for us to make sure that we propose a multitude of solutions,” Omar told the CNN Brianna Keilar anchor. “One is to make sure that we get rid of the assault weapons in our community.”
