The administrator of Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), Dr. Mehmet Oz, said that the Trump administration plans to invest more than $ 200 billion “more” more in Medicaid after the adoption of the “Big Beautiful Bill”.

Oz, the 17th administrator of CMS, said that the government wanted “an appropriate return” on the investment of Medicaid. He addressed the difference in medication costs between the United States and Europe, adding that the work is carried out by the administration in order to reduce the prices of drugs.

CMS already has information troves on more than 140 million Americans who register in Medicare and Medicaid. Earlier this month, the Federal Agency agreed to hand over its massive database, including domestic addresses, to expulsion managers.
