Representative Jasmine Crockett, D-Texas, said that she had no concerns about the mental acuity of former president Joe Biden while he was in the White House.

Crockett was the only other legislator in addition to the chairman of the James Comer Chamber’s supervisory committee, R-Ky., In the interview on camera with the former doctor of the White House Kevin O’Connor on Wednesday morning.

She told journalists thereafter that Biden’s stuttering was the reason for her frequent verbal blunders and had raised her own accusations concerning the mental faculties of President Donald Trump.

“No, I didn’t have one,” said Crockett to journalists when asked if she had concerns about the mental form of Biden while he was in power.

She admitted that she had not seen Biden “every day”, but added: “I had the opportunity to interact with the president. I never had any concern.”

“Now, Joe Biden is, what, 80 years old? I mean, the 80 -year version of Joe Biden against the 20 years version of Joe Biden is a little different. And I imagine that I would be the same,” said Crockett.

“But with regard to his ability to understand where he is and what he does – he can be tried by words, but it is nothing new, and it is not something that came with age. We know that it is someone who was born with a stutter that ultimately had to recover.”

Crockett said: “Some of the tools he had been trained to overcome this stutter” may have attenuated age, but said that her mind was still lively on problems, before she pivoted Trump.

“So yes, he might be going to go to words or something like that. But if you tell him about foreign policy – one of the most lively memories that I was after this debate that did not go well, we saw him having this complete order of foreign policy, something that this president does not do.

“He apparently learns with our enemies. And ultimately, these are things that should concern the American people, because these are things that are dangerous.”

Crockett surprised journalists when she appeared on Capitol Hill for the O’Connor deposit on Tuesday morning.

She didn’t say anything to the press on her way. After the interview, however, she accused the chairman of the Chamber’s supervisory committee, James Comer, R-Ky., Of O’Connor’s decision of pleading the fifth amendment.

“This is why it was important to ensure that a democrat was in the room, because, unfortunately, sometimes, people like the cord and make sure they can give everything that corresponds to their story,” said Crockett.

Comit, for his part, criticized the doctor’s decision.

Its committee is investigating the allegations of a concealment of the former president’s mental health by his then assistants.
