Huckabee indicates evacuation options for Americans in Israel

While hostilities continue to rage between Israel and the Islamic Republic of Iran, the United States ambassador in the Jewish State Mike Huckabee said that work is underway to offer options to Americans who wish to evacuate.

“American citizens wishing to evacuate Israel: register at https://mytravel.state.gov/s/step to be on the list. We work to obtain military, commercial, charter and cruise ships for Evac. If you do not offer seats!” Huckabee noted in a Publish on X.

Like previous opinions in recent days, the United States Embassy in Israel noted in a June 19 security alert He orders all US government employees and their families to continue to refute in place.

“We will alert the community of American citizens if there is additional information to share concerning the starting options,” said the opinion. “If you are an American citizen or a legal permanent resident currently in Israel or the West Bank and by looking for help from the American government to leave, please fill out this form so that the State Department can help you better and provide you with timely updates: https://mytravel.state.gov/s/crisis-intake.”

The opinion explained that, in the event that the government provides assistance to the Americans seeking to leave Israel, travelers should reimburse Uncle Sam but would not be required to pay before his departure from Israel.

“If the American government provides Israel departure assistance, the options would most likely include trips to a country near and safe. We do not provide a direct trip to the United States. You will be responsible for your trip after your arrival in the neighboring country.

“If the US government provides Israel’s departure assistance, you don’t need to pay before boarding, but you will have to sign a order ticket to reimburse the US government. We will tell you the estimated amount you should reimburse before traveling. Pets cannot accompany you,” he also notes.

Another security alert issued Thursday noted“The State Department still provides for eventualities to help privately from American citizens in crisis areas. We will alert the community of American citizens if there is additional information to share concerning the departure options. American citizens should register for the registration program for smart travelers to receive the latest updates.”
