Hawley tells the Democrats to “drop” after attacks against ice facilities

Senator Josh Hawley, R-MO., Made hard words for democratic colleagues employing on Tuesday a stormy rhetoric against agents of the application of immigration laws after recent attacks against ice facilities and border patrol in Texas.

Hawley told Fox News Digital in an interview that legislators had to focus on the needs of their voters, rather than trying to make the headlines.

He specifically called the Democrats who criticized the ice officers for carrying masks during their operations. representative Pramila JayapalD-Wash., Officers accused of having acted “as a terrorist force”

“Bringing down,” Hawley told his Democratic colleagues on Tuesday. “These are the same people who were in favor of the masking of our children. I don’t want to hear anything about ice officers who mask them.”

“We have a lot of reconstruction to do in America,” he added.

Hawley’s declaration occurred only after praising the adoption of the Radiation compensation law as part of President Donald Trump’s great bill. Hawley helped make legislation overcome alongside loyal democrats such as the former representative Cori Bush, D-Mo., And members of the NAACP, among others.

His words echoed the feeling expressed by the press secretary of the White House, Karoline Leavitt on Tuesday, who urged the Democrats to cool their rhetoric.

Leavitt urged Democrats like the representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, DN.Y., to organize a meeting with ice agents and CBP.

“We certainly call on the Democrats to alleviate their rhetoric against ice and border patrol agents, who, once again, are everyday men and women. I encourage AOC and other Democrats to meet the border patrol of the United States,” Leavitt told journalists on Monday.

“They are honorable Americans who simply try to make their work to enforce the law. They return home every evening, just as we all do, and they deserve respect and dignity for having tried to apply the immigration laws of our country and to withdraw the threats of public security from our communities,” she added.

The conversation on democratic rhetoric broke out in recent days after a pair of attacks against ice and border patrol facilities in Texas.

The agents and the local police killed the shooter who opened fire on the agents of the border patrol in the Rio Grande Valley of Texas, according to officials of the Ministry of Internal Security. No officer was killed during the attack, but a local police officer was shot.

This attack came in the heels of another shooting near the detention of Prairieland de Ice on Friday, where a Texas police officer was shot in the neck.
