Standing outside of Doley Field at Sanford Stadium in Athens, Georgia, on Saturday, Governor Brian Kemp approved the former football coach Derek Doley, a republican colleague, to oust senator Jon Ossoff, D-GA., In the US Senate race in 2026.

Kemp made this announcement an hour before Georgia’s Bulldogs spent their first match of the season, noting that Dooley was the “one and only opportunity” to return the headquarters of Ossoff.

Dooley, who entered the University of Virginia football team and played four years as a receiver, later graduated in law from the University of Georgia, where he began his 28 -year -old career as a graduate assistant.

Dooley approached the assertions on Saturday, claiming “Matters leadership”, Fox 5 Atlanta reported.

“I could tell you in the locker room at the moment, just at the bottom of the road, no matter what your level of income is, what is your policy (is), what is your religion,” said Dooley. “It was a question of bringing people together. Leadership counts.

“I mean, look at our state. This is what a big leadership looks like. And you are looking at our country right now. You have taken a guy who was a foreigner, President (Donald) Trump, who came and did not accept business as usual.”

Kemp, a governor with two mandates, described Doley as a “real political foreigner”, the addition of the Ossoff voting file does not reflect the values ​​of the state, leaving room for an upheaval.

Kemp’s office did not immediately respond to the Fox News Digital comments.
