New York City townhouse sells for $8 million amid new album bombing

The Brooklyn home for sale is a late 1800s brownstone with 5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms, located in “one of the most desirable buildings” in Carroll Gardens. For all that, they get a pretty penny – $7,995,000.
You know, the “Smile” singer’s new album, “West End Girl,” is apparently about their ugly breakup, and a real estate source tells TMZ that the first song on the album, “West End Girl,” is about that country house.
Among the many revelations revealed by “West End Girl” are allegations that Harbor lied about wanting an open marriage to cheat on her, and that his infidelity nearly cost her her sobriety.
In “Relapse” she sings, “The ground’s gone from under me / I’ve pulled away the safety net / I’ve moved across the ocean away from my family and friends / I’ve shattered the foundation / I’ve made such a huge mess.”
She also opens up about leaving his stuff in an apartment that she thought was his work space, but was saddened when she found evidence that he was cheating on her.
“I didn’t know it was a pussy palace, a pussy palace, a pussy palace, a pussy palace / I always thought it was a dojo, a dojo, a dojo / So am I looking at a sex addict, sex addict, sex addict, sex addict?” She sings.
