Freddie FreemanHer aunt’s was with the rest of the family at Dodgers Stadium last night for this epic victory… but she almost missed her nephew’s heroics!
Carol Freeman — who was also a fan favorite on this season of “The Golden Bachelor” — tells TMZ … she almost missed Freddie’s epic ride home in the 18th inning … because she was looking for ice cream at the concessions.
She had to usher him back to her seat…but Carol tells us she made it just in time to say a little prayer that Freddy wouldn’t be the last after the huge battle between the Dodgers and Blue Jays that lasted until midnight.
Carol tells us when Freddie hit that ball…it was the most exciting Dodgers stadium for her – and she marveled at how most of the sold-out crowd stayed the entire game.
As for her time on “The Golden Bachelor” — which just ended when she moved away after losing contact Mel Owens — Carol says… Meeting all the beautiful, strong women in her age group was the best part.

Don’t get it twisted… Carol tells us that Mel was a great guy… but he wasn’t around, and since she’s the manager of the Freeman family… there was no way in hell the Dodgers would miss the playoffs if there wasn’t a spark!
As for whether she’d like to become the Golden Bachelorette… Carroll says that could be a lot of fun — but again, only if it didn’t conflict with the Dodgers’ playoffs.
