Kushner, who is Jewish, wrote in the letter that anti -Semitic incidents in France were fed by French government declarations on the recognition of a Palestinian state.

The French Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in its declaration that “France firmly rejects these allegations” of Kushner, adding that the French authorities have “fully mobilized” to combat an increase in anti -Semitic acts since Hamas launched a deadly attack on Israel on October 7, 2023. The American State Department, however, said that he had supported Kushner and his comments, the department spokesman Tommy Pigott, said on Sunday evening.

Kushner, a real estate developer, is the father of Jared Kushner, who is married to Trump’s daughter, Ivanka Trump.
