Fox News survey shows that voters want more Ukrainian help, current Israeli approach

While international conflicts are intensifying, the highest share of voters prefers that the United States increases support for Ukraine while thinking that the current approach in Israel is appropriate.
Fox News’ latest national survey, published on Thursday, also notes that, even if a majority continues to support the Israelis, a record of 41% of Palestinians in the conflict. Support to the Palestinians has increased by 9 points since March and has increased 23 points since October 2023, shortly after Hamas’ attacks.
Compared to March, support for Palestinians is up in all areas, but especially among the Republicans (+6 points) and the self -employed (+15). Palestinians receive part of their strongest support for voters under the age of 30 (67%), very liberal voters (67%), Democrats (59%) and non -white voters (55%).

The support of the Israelis (55%) has been largely stable since January, the support peaking at 68% in October 2023.
Regarding the level of support in the United States for Israel, most of the voters estimates that it is almost correct (43%), up 8 points since last year. However, by 14 points, the more thinks that the United States is too favorable (35%) rather than not being sufficiently favorable (21%).
Five out of 10 Democrats consider that the support of Israel is too favorable, while six in 10 Republicans think that the support is almost correct. The self -employed are divided: 39% too favorable, 27% not enough, 34% roughly.

While a majority of voters blame Hamas for famine in Gaza (80% very or somewhat responsible), more than two thirds also think that Israel is responsible (68%). Democrats criticize each group for each group (81% Israel, 78% of Hamas) while more Republicans (57% Israel, 85% of Hamas) and independents (64% Israel, 71% of Hamas) blamed Hamas.
Meanwhile, by a margin of 10 percentage of points, voters think that the United States should do more to help Ukraine in its war with Russia (39% more against 29% less), with another third (31%) thinking that the effort is adequate.
The feeling remains above all unchanged since July, but is a reversal a year ago, when voters thought that we should do less than 17 points (40% less, 23% more, 34% roughly).
The increase in support for the help of Ukraine comes mainly from Democrats (+30 points) and the self-employed (+18 points), while opinions among the Republicans have moved to the United States make the right amount (+19).
President Donald Trump spoke about both Russian President Vladimir Putin and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy in recent weeks to negotiate a peace agreement, but in vain so far. Trump obtains better grades for his management of Ukraine (40% approves, 59% disapprove) than on Russia (36% against 62%) but is still underwater on both.
Some 46% approve the work that the president does overall, while 54% disapprove of.
Directed from September 6 to 9, 2025, under the direction of Beacon Research (D) and Shaw & Company Research (R), this Fox News survey includes interviews with a sample of 1,004 voters recorded at random in a national voter file. The respondents maintained themselves with live interviewers on fixed lines (119) and mobile phones (638) or completed the survey online after receiving a text (247). The results based on the full sample have a sampling error margin of ± 3 percentage points. The sampling error for the results between the subgroups is higher. In addition to the sampling error, the wording of the question and the order can influence the results. Weights are generally applied to age, race, education and area variables to ensure that the demography of respondents is representative of the registered electoral population.
