LAPD ends Kamala Harris security after Union Backlash on Elite Officer Use: Report
A specialized unit in the Los Angeles police department no longer provides the former vice-president Kamala Harris Security, according to a new report.
Officers with Metropolitan division of LAPDWho is the special operations group of the police service, intervened to ensure the safety of Harris after President Donald Trump has drawn details from Harris’ security in August, New York Times reported.
But this protection ended on Saturday after the UNION of the LAPD Union, the Los Angeles Police Protective League. The union has described the arrangement of “nuts”, arguing that “taxpayers of the should not get supplies in the invoice of this ridicule”. …Learn more.
