When asked if Virginia Attorney general candidate Jay Jones expected to withdraw from race following revelation of violent text messages, many say Democrats have either remained silent or defended Jones’ candidacy while condemning the posts.
The situation raises the question of whether Democrats might be concerned about replacing Jones as president. Democratic ticket against incumbent Republican Jason Miyares — and whether that’s even legally possible.
