While the world discusses the reality of the humanitarian situation in Gaza, Bill Hemmer of Fox News has taken a look at a distribution site operated by Gaza Foundation (GHF).
Fox News was the first point of sale to attend a newly established distribution center operated mainly by former American forces which coordinate with Israeli defense forces (FDI). Hemmer said the sites are not without problems or controversy, but that the Americans working with GHF are proud of what they have accomplished.
Regarding the status of Gaza, Hemmer said that Rafah was clearly decimated by the FDI. The city of southern Gazan is the place where Israel thinks that Hamas has its headquarters and the terrorist group held hostages taken almost two years ago, October 7, 2023.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu seems to consider a complete occupation of Gaza. If Israel makes this decision, it would be a complete reversal of his policy dating from 2005 when he withdrew from the enclave. Relatives of the hostages expressed their opposition to the plan for fear that it will put people in captivity even more danger.
The Palestinians who spoke with Hemmer said they were hungry and tired of war and Hamas.

Hemmer’s visit intervenes that the organization is faced with international conviction and a call from the United Nations Human Rights Council (CDH) for its “immediate dismantling”.
“Palestinians pay the ultimate prize for the legal, political and moral failure of the international community,” said a CDH declaration, citing the opinions of several United Nations experts. One of these experts appointed to the declaration is the special rapporteur Francesca Albanese, who has been sentenced several times by several governments, notably the United States, the United Kingdom and France, for having made anti-Semitic statements.
Albanian and other experts also say that GHF is “a completely worrying example of how humanitarian aid can be exploited for secret military and geopolitical agendas in serious violation of international law”.

Experts from the United Nations also said that Israeli forces and foreign military entrepreneurs without discerning Palestinians in search of assistance on GHF sites. However, the GHF has always denied the use of force against civilians on its sites. On several occasions, the organization sounded the alarm on threats from Hamas against workers and researchers.
This is aligned with a request that GHF had Fox News, which was to blur the faces of the Palestinians working with the organization for fear of Hamas remuneration.

The GHF says it has distributed “106 million meals effectively and directly” since May while pushing criticism and says its sites are dangerous. The organization insists that its objective is to nourish the Palestinians in need while bypassing Hamas, the terrorist group governing the enclave torn by the war.
While Fox News has received an overview of GHF, major issues remain. We do not know how the organization receives funding and how much it can expect in the future.

Recently, the UN has published its monthly infographic on the UN mechanism2720 for Gaza. In June 2025, the UN reported that on its 1,090 aid trucks, only 47 arrived at a “civil destination provided inside Gaza”. Meanwhile, the 1,043 other trucks would have been intercepted “either peacefully by hungry people, or forcefully by armed actors” in Gaza.
At the request of the UN, Israel will allow limited commercial goods entering the enclave, according to the foreign correspondent in chief of Fox News, Trey Yingst. This strategy apparently aims to obtain more goods on the Gaza markets, allowing those who need free help to access them first.
