In order to repress crime in the national capital, President Donald Trump accelerates the federal application in Washington, DC, and deploys federal law enforcement agents this week.
Supported by a decree of March, the White House, the respective federal agencies and the local officials will work together to drive the crime of DC.
DC residents can expect an increase in the federal application from Friday that Friday, officials said.
“Washington, DC, is an incredible city, but it has unfortunately been plagued by petty and violent crimes for too long”, press secretary of the White House Karoline Leavitt wrote in a statement to Fox News Digital. “President Trump is committed to making the capital of our country in security and even more beautiful for its residents, legislators and visitors around the world.”

Trump threatened on Monday to federalize Washington, DC, calling for local minors and gang members over 14 to be prosecuted in adulthood after a former employee of the Government Ministry (DOGE) said that he had been violently beaten in the city by two minors.
A White House official told Fox News Digital that the effort to revitalize the capital was a continuous priority for the president, who established the DC Safe and Beautiful Task Force through the Executive Decree “District of Columbia sure and beautiful”.
Federal officials will monitor the status of the city of the DC sanctuary to guarantee compliance with the federal immigration law and will support all the accreditation of the district judicial crime laboratory to help local surveys.

Officials said deployments will include areas such as National Mall, Lafayette Park, Union Station, Rock Creek Park and Major Parkways.

The working group has already made progress, using the federal application and the services of the National Park to increase the application, stop illegal immigrants and remove the homeless camps from parks and public spaces.
