New York Town Hall Socialist candidate, Zohran Mamdani tried to distance himself from his previous anti-political rhetoric on Wednesday in a decision that the elected officials of New York and a crime expert told Fox News Digital were equivalent to lips.

Mamdani has long criticized the New York Police Department (NYPD), calling for funding in 2020. He also frequently called it “racist” and said that the ministry’s strategic response group should be dissolved.

In another article on social networks, Mamdani posted “nature is healed” in response to a comment on the laughter of a cop crying in his car.

However, Wednesday, following a Midtown Manhattan shooting who left a dead NYPD officer Mamdani said his calls to defeat police had been made of “frustration” on the death of George Floyd.

His comments left several in the community that he had really turned the page of the police antagonization and believing that the return was politically led while the city is nodded in the worst mass shooting in half a century.

“Zohran ‘Nature is the healing of Mamdani Wednesday, Mamdani Wednesday, as a cynical and transparent damage control attempt, in response to an incident that served as a violent and dark reminder to the New York of the huge daily risks taken in their name by the men and women of the Nypd,” said Rafael Mangual, Foxred Foxal Police and the Policy Institute for Police Research for Police and Public Safety in Manhattan for the Foxual for police for police for the police for the Manhattan public security for Fox Fearch for police for police and public security of Manhattan for Fox Fearch for the police for the police and public security of Manhattan for Fox Fearch for Fox Policy for Policy and Public Safet Digital

Mangual continued explaining that Mamdani’s explanation of his previous statements was not far enough.

“But even in the tragic circumstances in which the press conference took place, Mamdani fell on multiple opportunities to retract or apologize explicitly for his long and sordid history of anti-political declarations,” added Mangual, who wrote an article In the New York Post Thursday on Mamdani’s press conference.

“He seemed defensive when he was confronted with his past statements, and even found a way to repeat previous criticisms of the very unit which led the response to the mass shooting on Monday evening in Midtown.

New York Republican Advisor Inna Vernikov, a Frankish critic from Mamdani, told Fox News Digital that Mamdani’s press conference shows that he does not respect voters “because he thinks we are too stupid to notice this blatant thong”.

“He has spent years denigrating the NYPD and pushing a radical program, and it was only now that he runs to the center because he finally realized that this city supported our cops and does not want a socialist mayor,” said Vernikov. “No one with half a review buys it.”

New York Republican MP Jake Blumencranz, Mamdani colleague, told Fox News Digital that Mamdani’s press conference was “political theater”.

“Let’s not rewrite history,” said Bluncranz. “While an innocent police officer and New Yorkers were murdered in New York, Zohran Mamdani was not even in the city – he was on a well -protected complex in Uganda. Now, he’s back, playing in Prolice for cameras?”

Bluncranz said Mamdani, he called an “absent colleague”, built a “campaign on the demonization of the police” which has become his “brand”.

“He called the nyp” bad and corrupt, “said” funded. Disassenger the end of the cycle of violence “and pushed to dissolve the very unit that responded to the shooting,” said Bluncranz. “Now, after a main victory and a mass tragedy, he wants the voters to believe that his convictions are / were just” out of step “? This is not growth – it’s political theater. And New Yorkers – in particular these Islam mourning officers – deserve honesty, not changed opportunism.”

Fox News Digital contacted the Mamdani campaign to comment.

Mamdani attended the funeral on Thursday of the NYPD officer Didarul Islam, who was killed during the Midtown Manhattan shooting.

The republican candidate for town hall Curtis Sliwa, former governor Andrew Cuomo and the current mayor of New York, Eric Adams, who both show up as self -employed, were also present.

Mamdani spoke brilliantly about the Islam officer at the Wednesday press conference, met the officer’s family and answered questions about his previous calls to finance the police.

“I do not run to finance the police,” said Mamdani by describing himself as “a candidate who is not fixed in time, the one who learns and the one who leads, and that means admitting, as I have become, and part of this means focusing on the people who deserve to be concentrated.”
