The five men were reportedly involved in a conspiracy of several decades to manufacture and distribute methamphetamine, cocaine and fentanyl, including in the United States. They are faced with drug trafficking and accusations of firearms that carry maximum life -prison sanctions.
“Today’s accusations are designed to dismantle the Cartels of the United States and translate their leaders into justice for having triggered the death and destruction of American citizens,” said Attorney General Pamela Bondi.
