First Trump-Putin meeting of the second term probably on the horizon

President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin seem to be on the right track to soon have their first meeting since Trump took office for his second term – as long as Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy is included.

A senior White House official told Peter Doocy de Fox News that if the two leaders met, it would be one of the two meetings: a bilateral meeting between Trump and Putin followed by a trilateral meeting between Trump, Putin and the Ukrainian president Volodyr Zelenskyy. The officials insisted that nothing was agreed, but seemed optimistic about the prospect that this happens next week.

Russia has confirmed that Zelenskyy’s inclusion has been discussed.
