Erika Kirk, the widow of the late Charlie Kirk, paid an emotional tribute to her husband and said that her mission would not end at the siege of Turning Point USA on Friday. It was his first public declaration since the assassination of her husband on Wednesday at Utah Valley University.
“To all those who listen to this evening through America this evening, the movement that my husband has built will not die,” said Kirk. “This is not the case. I refuse to let it happen. … No one will never forget the name of my husband. And I will make sure that will become stronger. More daring. Strong and more than ever. My husband’s mission will not end. Not even for a moment.
“My husband’s voice will remain, and she will sound stronger and more clearly than ever. And her wisdom will last.”
She delivered a message of steel to the “responsible criminals” of the death of her husband, proclaiming that they “have no idea what they did”.

Erika frequently supported Charlie during her events and was present on Wednesday at the University of Utah Valley when he was shot.
Erika is the host of a weekly podcast entitled “Midweek Rise Up”, the founder of a confessional clothing company called “Proclom” and directs a Christian ministry called Bible365, according to her website.
She was a female basketball player of the NCAA at Regis du Colorado University and was then transferred to the Arizona State University to win a majority of political and international relations. She obtained a master’s degree in American legal studies from the Liberty University in Virginia, where she pursues a doctorate in biblical studies. In 2012, she was crowned Miss Arizona USA.
While she concluded her comments on Friday, Erika promised her late husband that she would never let her inheritance die.
“I will make Turning Point USA the greatest thing that this nation has ever seen,” she said. “I love you, baby. Rest in the arms of our Lord.”
