Eric Adams swears to DJ Daniel as mayor of honor of the NYC for public security

Devarjaye “DJ” Daniel oath as an assistant deputy mayor for public security in New York on Tuesday morning.

The 13 -year -old cancer survivor, who was honored by President Donald Trump during his joint speech at the congress earlier this year, can add the new title to his vast curriculum vitae for applying the law.

“I would not be there if it was not for my dad,” said Daniel on Tuesday, adding: “My father drives me everywhere. No matter how tired he is, he always does the job. And in Texas, we don’t say that we do it, we do it, as my father says.”

Mayor Eric Adams has teased the oath by announcing that Deputy Mayor Kaz Daughtry “would deviate” from his role as leadership of public security.

In the light of the Manhattan District Prosecutor’s Office announcing four new accusation acts against Adams partners last week, Adams announced all the more likely.

“I’m going to resign just for a little today, and Dj Daniel will take my place as a honorary mayor for public security,” said Daughtry on Tuesday morning, joking about the “latest news today”.

Adams announced before Daniel’s Escure that the 13 -year -old had established the book of the world record Guinness for having sworn the most organizational organizations across the country to more than 1,350, including a role as a New York police commissioner earlier this year.

Daniel was catapulted under national spotlights when he was appointed Honorary Agent of American Secret Services at Trump’s joint address in the Congress earlier this year.

Since then, Daniel has been honored by the law enforcement organizations across the country with the support of his father, Theodis, who announced his candidacy for the 18th District of Texas at Congress earlier this month.

“When it comes to choosing people to play in the critical role, we are looking for courage, commitment and experience. And you see all these stars, money, diamonds. He has the experience we need. He is tested in combat. He is a leader tested in combat with a strong public service record, and we are proud to swear it,” said Adams.

The mayor, who said public security is the absolute priority of his administration, announced that Daniel would visit the Empire State Building and other tourist attractions on Tuesday.

Adams presented Daniel an “deputy mayor DJ” uniform, then gave him a proclamation after the sworn ceremony.

“DJ first had five months to live, and we beat that,” shared Theodis Daniel with Fox News Digital earlier this month.

Daniel was diagnosed with cancer of the terminal brain and the spine at the age of 6, but continued to challenge the chances.

During his speech by Congress, Trump described Daniel as “a young man who really loves our police” as he appointed him an agent of the honorary secret service to a standing ovation of the congress.
