According to an ice declaration, around 70 illegal foreigners working in the factory were discovered to use stolen social security numbers and identities to obtain authorization, wages and benefits to the detriment of more than 100 victims. The press release indicates that the victims faced “devastating financial, emotional and legal consequences” following identity theft.

Although the arrests have aroused the indignation of some in the local and national community, Ice said that the identity theft of the illegals proves that they were not innocent members and workers of the company, as some have suggested.
