Donald Trump He is being hailed as a hero and peacemaker in Israel… after 20 hostages are returned alive from Gaza.
The president spoke before the Israeli parliament following his peace plan to end the war in Gaza, where he received a standing ovation.
Trump speaks defiantly, declaring: “This is not just the end of war. This is the end of an era of terror and death and the beginning of an era of faith and hope and God.”

As part of the deal, Israel is expected to release 250 Palestinian prisoners serving life sentences – along with 1,700 Palestinian detainees held since the Hamas attack on the country on October 7, 2023.

Prime Minister of Israel Benjamin Netanyahu In his speech, Trump praised him as the “greatest friend” Israel has ever had and pledged his commitment to peace.
Trump even attacked Netanyahu, jokingly saying: “He’s not the easiest guy to deal with, but that’s what makes him great.”
Security forces quickly removed two of the demonstrators after they interrupted Trump’s statements, carrying signs that read, “Recognize Palestine.” Once they were taken out, Trump joked, “That was very effective,” drawing laughter from the audience.
Now… he could do no wrong.
