Florida Governor Ron DeSantis said an election victory for New York Democratic mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani would benefit Republicans politically, while being bad for the city.
He made the comment while retweeting a post on X from Elon Musk, who claimed that Mamdani “is the future of the Democratic Party.”
The Sunshine State’s conservative governor said that if Mamdani wins, he “will be the most prominent Democrat in America the day he takes office.”
