A better Democrat in the Senate accuses the Trump administration of having diverted “critical resources” of fighting crimes such as organized retail flight so that the president can carry out an “mass expulsion program”.
Senator Dick Durbin de l’Illinois, who is the member of the classification of the Senate judicial committee, made this remark during an audience on Tuesday in which he warned the legislators of the “large -scale flight of retail products which are then sold to unpaid consumers, often on the online markets”.
“Federal police also have an important role to play, but we must recognize that this administration has announced various priorities. Instead of fighting crimes as I have described, the Trump administration has diverted critical resources to the president’s mass expulsion program,” said Durbin.
“Internal security surveys, better known as HSI, play a leading role in the fight against criminal networks and organized crime, including organized retail flight. But under this administration, HSI has been diverted to the rally of immigrants, many of which represent no threat to this country,” added Durbin.

Durbin has cited a recent report indicating that “HSI supervisors have given up on new cases agents so that they have more time to carry out immigration application”.
“A veteran agent said” no drug cases, no human trafficking, no children’s exploitation. “It is exasperating. It is not the actions of a serious administration in the fight against crime,” concluded Durbin. “The entertainment of federal resources endangers the Americans and leaves us less equipped to target and disturb criminals like those of the organized retail flight.”
The Ministry of Internal Security did not immediately respond to a request for comments from Fox News Digital Tuesday.

During the hearing of the Senate’s judicial committee, entitled “Beyond the Smash and Grab: Criminal Networks and Organized Tolft”, President and Senator Chuck Grassley, R-IOW, said that he had seen a “continuous increase in organized crime of the retail chain and the supply chain and the criminal networks involved in this criminal activity.
“We have all seen videos of crowds ransacking thousands of dollars and do them in a very short time,” said Grassley.
“The reality is that some of the worst criminal organizations – including cartels, terrorists and human traffickers – use this type of crime, funding their misdeeds or washing (ING) a badly acquired product,” added Grassley, noting that “internal security investigators estimate that the average American family will pay more than $ 500 per year in additional costs, due to the impact of organized retail crime “.
Donna Lemm, director of the strategy of BIM Logistics, told Capitol Hill legislators on Tuesday that “the freight flight flies our supply chain up to $ 35 billion per year”.
“A few years ago, the freight flight was barely on my business radar.
